Currently based in the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, in the People’s Republic of China.
I have an interest in documenting Hong Kong culture and rediscovering the places I lived as a child.
- to document the culture and the people of Hong Kong as it is today inside this special period of 50 years in-between the British handing over Hong Kong and before the Chinese Government takes full control. - exploration of my childhood when I lived here during the 1980s, documenting what’s left of my adolescence from my first visit to Hong Kong.
Underlying intentions are to create intimate, honest images that don’t conform to established stereotypes found within popular media.
Studied a Photojournalism BA at Swansea Metropolitan and the MA Westminster University in London.
